Bob Hawks is a graduate of the Art Center in Los Angeles. He was a magazine photographer for 35 years and took up wood turning as an avocation in 1985. His pieces have won many awards and are in collections around the world. He uses native as well as exotic woods and combines metal and other materials in some of his pieces.
