· Cultivate relationships with gallerists and curators.

· Learn about what curators want through this podcast series and follow OVAC’s Oklahoma Art Writing & Curatorial Fellowship.

· Watch for national opportunities from places such as NYFA Source: www.nyfa.org , Call for Entry, and ZAPP.

· Read widely in the art field in areas that may even seem tangential to your work, such as Art in America, Sculpture, American Craft, Southwest Art, etc.
