Job Title: Marketing & Membership Coordinator

Organization: Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Salary: $30,000

Reports to the Executive Director

Full-time, Permanent, and Year-round

The Marketing & Membership Coordinator organizes office function, manages interns and volunteers, maintains the database, and manages the OVAC website and social media accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office management: facilitate smooth running of the office, reception duties, maintaining regular office hours, coordinating mailings, managing of office equipment, and acquiring office supplies
  • Coordinate volunteers and interns: intake, training, and supervision of interns and volunteers; lead recruiting, placement, and recognition; and track participation and retention rates
  • Maintain database: report generation, database entry and supervision, and donor file additions
  • Marketing: update and maintain OVAC’s website and social media accounts, create and implement social media cadence guide, write and distribute press releases, coordinate and produce monthly email newsletter, and other marketing tasks as needed
  • Program Assistance: duties as needed, part of the team for events (some evenings/weekends)

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in art, art history, marketing, or nonprofit management
  • Acute detail orientation and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem-solve
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Collaborative disposition skilled in working as part of productive teams
  • Proficiency in word processing, email, and social media
  • Aptitude in learning new technology quickly
  • Background in and zeal for the arts

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Several years’ experience in art, art history or nonprofit management
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Database management experience
  • Nonprofit marketing experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly
  • Ability to drive
