24 Works on Paper
This biennial travelling exhibition of work by living Oklahoma artists opened to the public in July 2013 and continues its tour around the state through January 2015. Produced as a collaboration between Individual Artists of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, the exhibition brings original, contemporary Oklahoman artwork to viewers in communities large and small.

The biennial 24 Works on Paper is the only traveling show of art by living Oklahomans. Exactly 24 artworks created on paper are included, from photography to printmaking and mixed media works.
2013 Guest Curator
Kirsten Olds is Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Tulsa and received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on artists’ groups in the 1970s and the networks they forged as alternatives to mainstream institutions such as the art gallery, mass circulation journal, and network television.
May 10, 2013, 5 pm: Deadline for entries. Online submission only.
May 31, 2013: Notification of accepted works.
June 21-22, 2013: Delivery of selected works to IAO Gallery
July 26, 6-9 pm: Exhibit opens at IAO, continues through August 3.
