The Festival Director will be responsible for conceiving, planning, executing, and evaluating the signature festival (and related events) of ACOKC. This role leads all aspects of the festival lifecycle — programming, operations, logistics, marketing, partnerships, budget, vendor/artist relations, staffing/volunteers, and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong event management experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for arts and community engagement.

Administrative Assistant

The World Organization of China Painters is hiring for an Administrative Assistant position. The Administrative Assistant will directly assist the Director and will play a key role in the daily operations of the WOCP headquarters office, Porcelain Art Museum and our membership. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Reader, Windows and social media (Instagram, Facebook). This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration. This individual works with integrity and ethically and brings a positive presence to the workplace. Museum, non-profit and clerical experience is preferred but not essential.

Studio School Instructors

Art Instructor
Firehouse Art Center | Norman, OK

The Firehouse is hiring! We are seeking additional art faculty to teach classes; from kids and adults to outreach programs! Firehouse faculty members are professional teaching artists contracted by the Firehouse to provide creative visual arts instruction in a variety of mediums. As instructors, they enthusiastically challenge, engage, and communicate with their students to encourage individual participation and learning while meeting the needs and experience level of each student. Artists interested in applying should have a minimum of a Bachelors in visual arts; those with prior teaching experience are preferred.
