THRIVE Grants

OVAC joins forces with The Andy Warhol Foundation to empower Oklahoma artists through Thrive Grants. These grants of up to $10,000 support ambitious, experimental, and public-engaging visual arts projects that foster creativity and collaboration.

Art Focus

Art Focus is a quarterly magazine dedicated to stimulating insight into the visual arts in Oklahoma by providing artist profiles, gallery reviews and previews, art commentary, artist essays, and more!

Michael Eggar

OVAC Artist Member Since: 2016

Michael (Chad) Eggar received his BFA in 2017 from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and his MFA in 2020 from Miami University in Oxford, OH. His recent group exhibitions include Queers Just Wanna Have Fun, an online exhibition by the Queerly Collective; Repairing Austin’s Wings: Navigating and Healing Mental Illness at the McKeon Center for Creativity in Tulsa, OK; and SmallArt Show at the Paseo Arts & Creativity Center in Oklahoma City, OK. His most recent solo exhibition, 'how i remember, how i forget', was held at Art Wrecker in Chickasha, OK. He currently lives in Oklahoma City, OK, where he works as an artist and Senior Digital Designer.
