Maywadee Viriyapah is a Thai-American multi-disciplinary artist born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her work includes animation, dryer lint textile, charcoal, and more.

Brief Artist Statement

My interdisciplinary practice is centered on personal experiences and how I tackle concepts of identity, generational trauma, home, and domestic labor. I investigate what it means to walk between worlds, and the resulting absence of belonging.
