Dead Feather is a concept compiled together by Joshua Garrett. The concept uses various mediums of art to tackle the subject of assimilation and the civilization process concerning the North American Indian, in particular the Mvskoke-Creek. The Dead Feather concept applies elements of magick, spirituality, religion, the occult and examines how these elements tie into the socio-political arena of modern society and the historical desire for absolute control over the masses, the land and it's resources.
