Concert poster for H.I.P. Quartet performances July 24-25, 2026, featuring Dvořák and Smetana on gut strings.
The H.I.P. Quartet brings two of the great works of chamber music to life on gut strings in two intimate Oklahoma concerts. On July 24, the quartet performs at 1515 Lincoln Gallery (an Oklahoma City gallery setting with only 35 seats available $40, pre-concert talk at 6pm, concert at 7pm). On July 25, the concert moves to Yukon Czech Hall ($25, pre-concert talk at 2:30pm, concert at 3:30pm). The program features Dvořák's "American" Quartet and Smetana's "From My Life," performed in the historically informed style on period gut strings.

Tickets available at okbaroque.org.

This is a two-venue event. First performance at 1515 Lincoln Gallery.
