Prepare for liftoff, Enid! The much-anticipated traveling immersive art installation, The Cicada, is making its inaugural stop in downtown Enid between Leonardo's Children's Museum and Settlers Brewing Co. This unique immersive art experience was developed by Itinerant lmmersive, under the creative direction of Enid's own Ben Ezzell, with contributions from artists across the state and beyond.

Itinerant lmmersive was founded in Spring 2022 following the success of Sugar High, a temporary immersive art installation in Enid, OK that saw nearly six thousand visitors over its six week run. Several of the original Sugar High artists returned to work on The Cicada including Ben Ezzell, Tax Murillo, Nick Bayer, Corey Keller, and Nathan Guidry.

Step aboard this abandoned-spaceship-turned-art-installation and explore where the missing crew lived and worked. The Cicada invites visitors of all ages to feel, listen, watch, and engage with the interactive spaceship itself. From the docking thruster console in the bridge to the diagnostic panel in the engine room, this world is made to be touched!

Admission is $10 plus tax, operating hours are:
Thursday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Friday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturday: 1 :00 PM - 9:00 PM
Sunday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The spaceship will remain in Enid through mid-January 2025 before the entire 70' long, 16' wide structure launches to its next destination.
