The 2026 graduating class of Cameron University's Fine Art and Arts Education students are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Senior Art Exhibition at the Leslie Powell Gallery in Lawton! This is a wonderful opportunity to support our talented graduating artists from Cameron University and experience the beautiful collection of works they have poured their hearts into!

Join us for an evening of art, light refreshments, and great conversation! Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends or a cozy date night, we’d love to see you there.

Feel free to explore the artworks, many of which will be available for purchase, but please know that your presence is the most important thing! If you can’t make it to the opening night, don’t worry—the exhibition will be on display until May 1st!

Meet the Artists!!

Mathew Gonzalez: Mathew blends classical techniques with contemporary elements. His work examines the interplay of structure and emotion, influenced by Renaissance and Baroque traditions.

Melissa Heilig (OVAC Member): Melissa showcases a sequential narrative that illustrates childhood imagination in her artwork. Her pieces explore nostalgia and entertainment, inviting viewers to connect through shared memories and emotions.

Heather Frampton: Heather's fantasy-driven imagery merges fine art with graphic aesthetics. She creates bold, narrative-rich works that transport viewers into deeply personal and mythic worlds.

Jason Mitchell: An emerging graphic designer and printmaker, Jason combines design with traditional print processes, crafting concept-driven images that reflect his interests in illustration and visual storytelling.

Susan Morren: Embracing the idea that art has no boundaries, Susan experiments across diverse media, challenging conventional definitions of creative expression.

Michelle Griffin Bishop: Inspired by interior design and floral décor, Michelle creates harmonious art that emphasizes balance and pattern, exploring how beauty influences emotional experiences.
